Scouring Pad Hedges
These rectangular scouring pads make nice hedges to go alongside your structures. Measure, cut, glue in place. Makes the structures look like they belong there, instead of just being plopped in place.
This is a great idea! Since I have a mix of both commercial and residential properties on my layout, this is a nice and CHEAP alternative to buying these ready made. I'm also going to make a 7 scale foot tall hedge maze in the town park using this. My local Dollar Tree carries these in 5 packs for $1.00. $5.00 worth should do the trick.
I like this . . . simple, cheap, and effective.
