Mini Tank Farm
A couple of Tyco tank cars get their trucks removed, then painted, rusted, and set up to become part of this little trackside tank farm. Pipes are pieces of plastic sprue leftover from a kit.
I like the way that came out and I have an entire box of junk tank cars to weed through. Once destined to go into service after a rebuild program makeover, now these swap meet finds are just sitting in a box awaiting disposition. An old friend left me his tank car projects after he passed on, and his are much more promising that what I had.
